DC500R: Server SSD optimized for read-intensive applications
Kingston’s DC500R is an SSD designed for read-focused workloads. This allows data centers to select workload-appropriate SSDs without having to over-invest in more expensive write-focused SSDs. Streaming large volumes of data, delivering responsive results from a variety of databases and Internet applications can exploit the DC500R’s receive performance.
DC500 Series SSDs don’t disappoint in QoS with consistency, latency (response time) predictability, and input/output per second (IOPS) performance while running read and write workloads. Performance predictability is essential for web hosting applications that must live up to commitments made to customers in SLAs.

Enterprise data center SSDs
Kingston’s Data Center 500 series drives (DC500R and DC500M) are High-performance SATA SSDs with a 6Gb/s interface that incorporate the latest 3D TLC NAND and have been tuned for read-centric server and mixed-use server workloads. They implement Kingston’s stringent Quality of Service (QoS) requirements to ensure predictable random I/O performance and predictable low latencies across a wide range of read and write workloads. They can increase productivity in artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data analytics, cloud computing, software defined storage, operational databases, database applications, and data warehousing.
