Seasonic PRIME PX: Third Generation 80+ Platinum High Quality Power Supply
The Seasonic PRIME PX power supply offers 80+ Platinum certification, a 100% modular design and allows a Fanless use below 40% load. It has a silent 135 mm fan and its rich connectivity allows it to supply a configuration equipped with the most powerful components with a reliable and stable voltage.
Equipped with the latest technological advances, the PRIME PX maintains the output voltage within a very tight range, achieving less than 0.5% load regulation (MTLR). This impressive electrical performance and stability make this power supply an ideal choice for high performance systems.
FDB fan
The 135mm high-performance fan that equips this power supply is designed to take advantage of the impact absorption effects of the ‘oil. It is extremely reliable and generates much less operating noise and heat than ball bearing fans. Lubrication of the bearing surface reduces friction and vibration and therefore reduces overall energy consumption. Due to the effortless, quieter rotations and robust construction, this proven fan technology also increases fan life.
Hybrid Cooling
This Seasonic PRIME power supply features the Premium Hybrid Fan Control system which allows the noise generated by the fan to be reduced to a minimum. Thus, below 40% load, the unit is in 0 dB mode (fanless) then the fan starts up in proportion to the configuration demand.
Internal cable-free design
Seasonic engineers have implemented a new internal design, where instead of cables, the rear panel and the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) are connected by a copper plate. This solution not only reduces risk during assembly, but also improves the quality and reliability of power output.
